Experiment with the Science of Baseball with the Exploratorium at AT&T Park. The Exploratorium will be presenting Science of Baseball before and during the Giants vs. the Dodgers game on September 12, 2009, at 6:05pm. There will be hands-on activities and exhibits on the science of baseball at the Community Clubhouse behind home plate beginning at 3pm. Keep your eye on the Giants scoreboard for a 30-second spot about the Exploratorium, its 40th anniversary, and its leadership role in science education. Play ball.

Also the Exploratorium will have a booth at Fiesta Gigantes, the street fair along Third Street in front of the ball park that runs from 3 p.m. to the start of the game that day. The Fiesta is organized by the Giants to commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month. Hands-on activities at the booth will include Air Flow and how things like a baseball move through the air.
