Physics of Toys: Classic Edition and Physics of Toys: Balancing Act
Saturday, January 16 and Saturday, February 20, Respectively
11am-3pm
Classic toys from years past and balance are the first two topics at Physics of Toys in 2010. On the third Saturday of
every month, from 11am-3pm, the Exploratorium always presents Physics of Toys, an interactive laboratory that explores toys in a one-on-one workshop in which children and adults alike investigate the science of everyday things. Take home what you make. Physics of Toys is included in the price of admission to the Exploratorium. The programs for January and February are as follows.
Saturday, January 16
Physics of Toys: Classic Edition
11am-3pm
Kick off the new year with Physics of Toys. Join the team and make classic toys from years past: bull roarers, gee-haw sticks, whirligigs, and more. Recommended for ages 6 years and up, but all are welcome. Take home what you make!
Saturday, February 20
Physics of Toys: Balancing Act
11am-3pm
Seeking balance between work and play? Join the team and build gadgets, toys, and artworks based on balance. Recommended for ages 6 and up, but all ages are welcome. Take home what you make!
