Nanotechnology in Health Care: Possibilities, Risks, and Benefits
June 5, 2007
Nanotechnology-enabled medical technologies have the potential to transform health care as we know it. But should new applications be available before we understand the possible risks? Current research in medical nanotechnologies is producing revolutionary products and incredible new discoveries. While these advancements have potentially huge benefits, it’s important to consider the societal, ethical, environmental, and economic impacts of the nanomaterials they rely upon. Come to the Exploratorium on Tuesday, June 5, 2007, from 6:45-8:45pm and join in this free important discussion.
