Explore the Waters of the Palace of Fine Arts Lagoon

Pond Projector Workshop
Saturday, April 2
Noon and 2 pm

Roll up your sleeves and explore the waters of the Palace of Fine Arts lagoon. On Saturday, April 2, find out for yourself how much life is contained in a single drop of water. Working with Exploratorium biologist Mary Ellen Marshall, participants will create water drop projectors using laser pointers and syringes. Project the microbes in your water drops onto our classroom walls. Recommended for ages 6 and up. Space is limited; same day registration starts at 10am. The workshop will be held in the classroom of the Exploratorium at noon and will repeat at 2pm. This activity is free with Museum admission.
